Work Experience

Tasks

  • Collaborate with the Global Sales Manager to define and implement the commercial strategy
  • Set the unit business plan and budget based on market drivers and investor appetite
  • Generate recurring income to meet annual revenue targets
  • Promote distribution of ad-hoc solutions among institutional clients
  • Identify new business opportunities through ongoing client interactions
  • Coordinate and delegate tasks among the team
  • Supervise all ongoing commercial activities
  • Drive the origination of commercial opportunities with institutional clients
  • Manage a specific client portfolio
  • Encourage strategic alignment with other GM/CIB areas
  • Enhance BBVA GM product trading and structured product development
  • Negotiate approvals with the Risk unit
  • Monitor main activity indicators and track the operations pipeline
  • Ensure budget compliance for the unit's activities
  • Promote the bank's positioning as a key market player in the region
  • Coordinate with Policies & Procedures CIB to define and update sales operating procedures
  • Monitor compliance with the established operative framework
  • Introduce the unit's activities to internal and external clients
  • Manage staffing issues in collaboration with the Sales Manager and TC CIB
  • Report periodically and ad-hoc to the Sales Manager on unit activities
