Requirements
- •Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
- •IT proficiency and experience with ERP systems such as Oracle
- •Experience of monthly reporting to tight deadlines
- •Experience in a multi-division and international company
- •Knowledge of various accounting packages and in-house software, particularly Excel
- •Experience of SOX audits
- •Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills
- •Commercially astute with strong analytical skills
- •Strong problem-solving skills and process improvement
- •Strong attention to detail and knowledge of accounting standards
- •Highly motivated and dynamic with ability to meet deadlines
- •Professional appearance and attitude

- •Ongoing interest in solving and improving financial issues

Work Experience

Tasks
- •Lead and mentor the finance team
- •Create a motivational and productive work environment
- •Foster effective teamwork across departments
- •Identify training needs and provide in-house training
- •Produce timely and accurate management accounts
- •Make accounting adjustments and prepare annual financial statements
- •Ensure compliance with statutory financial reporting and tax requirements
- •Prepare and submit annual budgets and monthly forecasts
- •Oversee daily finance functions including settlements, AR, AP, and sales reporting
- •Collaborate with external payroll provider for payroll accounting
- •Ensure accurate and timely client settlements
- •Review significant financial reconciliations for accuracy
- •Authorize all payments from TM Switzerland accounts
- •Develop additional accounting controls
- •Ensure compliance with corporate control policies
- •Conduct special project work for TM Switzerland
- •Identify key business risks and opportunities
- •Assist in resolving contract renewals and changes
- •Complete ad-hoc requests from management
- •Coordinate the annual board meeting with the chairman
- •Liaise with external and internal auditors
- •Build relationships with key clients
- •Implement modifications to financial systems for efficiency
- •Address significant financial issues promptly
