Requirements

• Proven track record in accounting operations
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related
• 5+ years of progressive experience
• Hands-on experience in finance operations
• Experience in process improvement and automation
• Track record of automating finance processes
• Experience building high-performing finance teams
• Strong command of ERP systems
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments
• Fluency in German and English proficiency

Tasks

• Architect and optimize the financial technology stack
• Manage ERP, closing tools, and automation platforms
• Reengineer processes to eliminate waste and accelerate workflows
• Partner with IT and the CFO to enhance ERP functionality
• Improve master data quality and financial data structures
• Implement and scale RPA and automation
• Deploy AI-powered controls to improve accuracy and speed
• Lead and develop a team of 10+ accounting professionals
• Foster a culture of ownership and analytical rigor
• Mentor staff through clear career pathways and coaching
• Scale team capacity while maintaining exceptional quality
• Deliver precise, decision-ready financial reporting to senior leadership
• Reduce reporting cycle times continuously
• Translate accounting outcomes into actionable business insights
• Support board reporting and strategic special projects
• Conduct analytical deep dives to support scaling
• Build self-service analytics and real-time financial dashboards
