Requirements
- •University degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related discipline
- •Experience leading a global team with exposure to Aeronautical Charges, Airline, Airport, and ANSP Operations and Economics
- •Strong understanding of global regulatory frameworks and economic principles governing aeronautical charges
- •Demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence at the highest levels
- •Strong strategic, analytical, and adaptive skills
- •Excellent conflict resolution skills and ability to motivate others
- •Experience in managing technology-driven data or performance projects
- •Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage

Tasks
- •Provide strategic leadership for IATA’s aeronautical charges advocacy initiatives
- •Lead, mentor, and develop a team focused on advocacy strategy
- •Ensure accountability, collaboration, and quality standards within the team
- •Oversee the team’s strategic approach and performance
- •Develop and communicate industry positions and recommended practices
- •Define and execute advocacy strategies for aeronautical charges
- •Focus on economic regulation, cost efficiency, and sustainability-linked charging
- •Collaborate with Corporate Communications to articulate IATA’s objectives
- •Deliver briefings, reports, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders
- •Represent IATA in consultations with Airports, ANSPs, and regulatory authorities
- •Contribute to IATA governance bodies as Secretary for the Airport and ANSP Charges Working Group
- •Maintain relationships with ICAO, regional regulators, and industry associations
- •Support enhancements of IATA’s Aviation Charges Intelligence Center and publications
- •Identify opportunities for revenue generation through training and consulting
- •Ensure quality assurance for initiatives and partnerships
- •Drive innovation using airport performance data and business intelligence tools
- •Collaborate with commercial and data analytics teams to monitor trends and improve efficiency
