Requirements
- •Bachelor or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, informatics, telecommunications, or related field
- •Good fundamental knowledge of analog and digital electronics
- •Experience with industry standard PCB design tools
- •Experience in programming state of the art controllers such as DSPs, ARMs, etc.
- •Solid experience in hardware and firmware verification and testing activities
- •High level of self-reliance and eagerness to learn new things
- •General knowledge of power electronics, FPGA programming and electrical safety
- •Fluency in written and spoken English, willingness to learn German, additional languages are a plus

Tasks
- •Conduct PCB schematic and layout design
- •Collaborate with R&D staff to identify hardware and firmware design requirements for power converters
- •Work with PCB/PCBA partners for prototyping
- •Organize production, assembly, and component sourcing
- •Support hardware verification and commissioning tests
- •Ensure laboratory safety measures are followed
- •Maintain and update component libraries
- •Assist in organizing and maintaining hardware test facilities
- •Present regularly to the wider team
- •Document design and testing activities
