Requirements

  • Manufacturing, industrial tech, or operations experience
  • Technical degree in engineering, data science, mathematics, or related field
  • Familiarity with production data flow (Historians, MES, SCADA, ERP)
  • Enterprise sales tools (Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) experience
  • Fluency in German, French, or other European languages

Tasks

  • Build new customer relationships from initial contact to contract signing
  • Shape market entry strategies, messaging, and sales playbooks
  • Collaborate with founders and cross-functional teams on growth decisions
  • Engage with plant managers, operations leaders, and process engineers
  • Understand production processes and build a compelling case for Ethon
  • Own the full sales cycle from first conversation to contract signing
  • Develop industry priorities and positioning strategies
  • Identify and propose solutions for improving sales processes
  • Refine pipeline generation, deal management, and conversion methods
  • Interact with process engineers and COOs to understand their needs
  • Travel to customer sites and attend industry events
  • Spend time on shopfloors to gain insights
  • Drive measurable growth by closing deals
  • Work with company leadership on strategic accounts and GTM decisions
  • Flag and fix issues in the sales process
  • Iterate on strategies and processes quickly
  • Collaborate with a high-achieving team focused on mutual growth
