Global Supply Chain Manager EMEA based(m/w/x)
Global AMI strategy development and inventory management for specialty materials used in transportation and building. Minimum 10 years of international logistics experience and APICS certification preferred. Cross-functional team leadership across EMEA, 30 days vacation.
Requirements
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Supply Chain Management, or comparable
- At least 10+ years relevant experience
- Master’s Degree preferred
- APICS, CPIM or CIRM certifications preferred
- Experience managing global supply chains
- 2+ years program, project, or product management experience
- Knowledge of CRM systems preferred
- Understanding of supply planning profitability impact
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong affinity for modelling
- Strong questioning, observation, and listening skills
- High degree of initiative
- Ability to achieve results individually and in teams
- Commitment to task and detail orientation
- Inquisitive nature and barrier-breaking mindset

Tasks
- Develop and manage global AMI supply chain strategy
- Operationalize market segment strategies with cross-functional teams
- Develop specific service offerings for market segments
- Anchor the execution of segment-specific supply chain offerings
- Drive inventory strategy to ensure target service levels
- Conduct periodic reviews of the product portfolio inventory
- Define supply policies and inventory targets for product segments
- Lead a global team of Supply Managers
- Manage global long-term supply of finished goods and intermediates
- Engage with regional teams to execute global S&OP plans
- Model what-if scenarios to resolve supply conflicts
- Identify constraints and propose alternatives for unmet demand
- Facilitate monthly IBP cycle supply meetings
- Review balanced supply plans, allocations, and KPIs
- Optimize supply chain performance and logistics flows
- Identify network configuration optimization opportunities
- Ensure inventory strategy execution with regional teams
- Provide monthly inventory forecasts
- Collaborate with Automotive Commercial Teams on supply choices
- Assess supply capabilities to support the sales funnel
- Align global Automotive supply choices with regional teams
- Represent AMI Supply Chain in Global Automotive WWCAR
