Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Business, or Sustainable Management
• Fluent English
• Minimum 10 years experience in engineering or sustainability program management
• Strong knowledge of corporate environmental sustainability
• Strong change management skills
• Good networker
• Proven ability to set up and run cross-functional programs
• Track record in matrix organizations and delivering through non-reporting lines
• Creative approach and idea generation for business needs
• Team management experience

Tasks

• Define and lead the environmental sustainability agenda.
• Achieve Net Zero 2045 ambition (Scope 1, 2 & 3 + Product Carbon Footprint).
• Meet non-financial targets for water, waste, and circularity.
• Implement science-based targets.
• Advocate for target integration across business processes.
• Steer decision-making and drive performance.
• Lead Global Sustainable Operations sponsor governance.
• Ensure progress of workstreams across divisions and functions.
• Represent the function in Sustainable Procurement.
• Represent the function in Regenerative Agriculture.
• Represent the function in PCF Steering Committees.
• Disclose and communicate overall performance (internal and external).
• Prepare Givaudan's Integrated Annual Report.
• Prepare CDP, RE100, and SBTi Targets reports.
• Provide regular updates to senior leaders.
• Inform the Executive Committee and Board of Directors.
• Report on environmental sustainability matters and governance.
• Report on Long Term Incentive Plan and sustainable financing.
• Lead a team of 7 experts.
• Serve as a member of Givaudan's Sustainability Leadership Team.
• Lead Givaudan's Nature pillar initiatives.
• Lead Givaudan's climate, water, waste, and circularity ambitions.
• Define and lead the environmental sustainability program.
• Develop a master plan to eliminate GHG emissions (Scope 1, 2 & 3).
• Manage water, waste, and circularity across the value chain.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders.
• Define reporting scope and definitions.
• Specify indicators, perimeter, and periodicity for reporting.
• Manage Nature ambition trajectories for sustainable financing.
• Manage Nature ambition trajectories for Long Term Incentive Plans.
• Manage mitigation measures delegated in ERM.
• Ensure coherence of PCF calculations and methodologies.
• Manage the Environmental Sustainability team.
• Guide the team towards ambition targets.
• Lead sustainability digital transformation initiatives.
• Lead strategic sustainability initiatives.
• Ensure communications and updates for EC, BoD, and Senior Management.
• Prepare environmental sustainability communications.
• Validate environmental sustainability communications.
• Represent Givaudan in sustainability forums.
• Oversee assurance audits.
• Act as content expert for reporting.
• Validate external and internal communications.
• Support customers' sustainability journey with expertise.
• Address customer requests on sustainability.
• Leverage partnerships and innovations.
