- Proficiency in analysing supply-demand dynamics
- Proficiency in analysing geopolitical influences
- Advanced quantitative skills
- Advanced analytical skills
- Proficiency in Python, R, or other relevant programming languages is a plus
- Familiarity with trading platforms and exchanges
- Familiarity with ICE, PEGAS, or similar exchanges
- Strong risk management skills
- Ability to operate within defined risk limits
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent collaboration skills
- Working with internal and external stakeholders
Tasks
- Develop and execute trading strategies in European spot gas markets
- Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and price drivers
- Identify trading opportunities
- Optimize forward gas portfolios
- Coordinate with power trading and cross-commodity opportunities
- Manage hedging activities
- Handle structured products linked to gas market dynamics
- Leverage advanced analytics and models
- Support trading decisions with data tools
- Forecast market movements
- Collaborate with origination, risk management, and analytics teams
- Align trading strategies with company objectives
- Maintain relationships with market participants
- Build relationships with exchanges, brokers, and clients
- Stay updated on regulatory and policy changes
