Overseeing building and grounds management for pharmaceutical campuses in Basel, Rotkreuz, and Geneva. Extensive pharmaceutical facility operation experience required. 4-day work week, company car for private use.
Requirements
- 5+ years facility management/maintenance experience
- Strong financial competency (budgeting, capital planning, maintenance)
- Extensive pharmaceutical facility operation experience
- Strong knowledge of facility/building/utility operations and services
- Ability to understand corporate perspective, strategic and financial incl. regulatory knowledge (pharmaceutical industry)

- Lead facilities management for Campus Basel, Rotkreuz, and Geneva
- Manage third-party service providers for facility services
- Support direct contract and integrated facility management models
- Oversee building and grounds management
- Manage cleaning operations
- Oversee food services
- Manage infrastructure maintenance
- Manage site maintenance operations
- Develop strategic relationships with service providers
- Build stakeholder relationships with Novartis business units
- Stay current on evolving facilities management strategies
- Develop strategic planning for competitive advantage
- Facilitate change management for strategy implementation
- Coordinate with REFS initiatives
- Lead the regional FM Team
- Govern third-party service providers
- Ensure adherence to baseline budgets
- Develop new scopes of work
- Maintain 24/7 site operations
- Develop and implement business strategies
- Improve quality of facility services
- Enhance productivity of facility services
- Improve customer service levels
- Increase cost efficiency
- Ensure facility services meet end-user requirements
- Ensure stakeholder customer satisfaction
- Align with Design & Construction Management on CODB plans
- Partner with Procurement on supplier evaluation
- Participate in request for proposal processes

- Manage contracted vendor compliance
- Manage third-party contracts effectively
- Govern third-party contracts
- Rate service providers on performance
- Monitor financial performance indicators
