Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Advanced degree in Health Economics, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Public Health, or Business (preferred)
  • 15+ years European market access, pricing, HTA leadership experience in biopharma/biotech industry
  • Proven success leading European launches of specialty or oncology products (incl. GI indications)
  • Deep expertise in European payer systems and HTA processes (incl. AMNOG, NICE, HAS, AIFA, EU-level HTA collaborations)
  • Ability to influence clinical development and global strategy via regional access insights
  • Strong track record working in matrixed, global organizations (balancing regional accountability/global alignment)
  • EU market access experience with strong oncology focus
  • Experience supporting first-in-class or highly innovative therapies
  • Strong executive presence and ability to articulate complex value propositions

Tasks

  • Lead European market access and pricing strategy for GI.
  • Focus strategy on PDAC indications.
  • Ensure optimal reimbursement and access outcomes.
  • Collaborate with regional and country teams.
  • Shape GI strategy, projects, and launch plans.
  • Translate global strategy into European access plans.
  • Develop European value dossiers and economic models.
  • Provide structured input for global strategy evolution.
  • Shape and localize European GI value narrative.
  • Align narrative with Global Value Dossier.
  • Ensure relevance to national HTA requirements.
  • Define and execute European launch sequencing.
  • Define and execute net price corridors.
  • Define and execute reference pricing mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure alignment with global pricing governance.
  • Manage Europe-specific GI access risks and opportunities.
  • Escalate insights to global and regional leadership.
  • Contribute to the JCA dossier.
  • Partner with Clinical Development, HEOR, Regulatory, and Medical Affairs.
  • Embed European payer and HTA evidence into GI development programs.
  • Lead European GI study design and endpoint selection.
  • Lead European strategies for comparators and sub-populations.
  • Support successful HTA and reimbursement outcomes.
  • Lead European payer research and stakeholder engagement.
  • Translate insights into actionable access strategies.
  • Partner with regional and country teams for launch readiness.
  • Develop access roadmaps.
  • Enable affiliates for launch.
  • Support negotiation strategy.
  • Partner with commercial teams on forecasting and payer research.
  • Serve as European GI access lead on global teams.
  • Represent regional needs on global teams.
  • Reinforce global alignment.
  • Act as strategic thought partner to leadership.
  • Advise leadership on GI market dynamics and implications.
  • Monitor and assess European pricing, HTA, and policy trends.
  • Translate implications into lifecycle and access strategies.
  • Coordinate with Global and U.S. access teams for alignment.
  • Manage impact of European decisions on global pricing corridors.
  • Manage impact of European decisions on lifecycle management.
