Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales
- Experience selling a technical product to a technical buyer
- Expertise in account planning and prospecting
- Expertise in navigating and growing a pipeline
- Familiarity in supporting and selling to large enterprise customers
- Ability to drive the sales process effectively
- Proficiency in communicating with executive-level contacts
- Salesforce.com proficiency
- Customer-centric focus
- Solid communication and listening skills
- Team player
- Self-driven and proactive attitude
- Experience in a B2B sales role in SaaS
- Experience in Software Development Tooling sales
- Experience with selling and closing deals internationally
Tasks
- Highlight product value to drive adoption
- Engage with developers and decision-makers
- Generate new leads within assigned accounts
- Upsell and cross-sell to exceed revenue targets
- Document buying criteria and processes
- Manage customer requirements and quarterly reviews
- Onboard customers with SonarSource products
- Develop relationships with champions in accounts
- Size and quote software license needs
- Negotiate and close upgrades to implementations
- Interact with customers via phone, email, and video
- Support marketing with account-based campaigns
- Share and grow sales team best practices
- Capture and report account information in SFDC
- Utilize Salesforce.com for daily activity and forecasting
