- Several years of embedded software experience
- Understanding of embedded systems architecture
- Experience in regulated industry, preferably medical
- Proficiency in C and Python

- Experience with microcontrollers and communication protocols

- Realize and verify software for ophthalmology devices
- Expand the Zephyr-based embedded software platform
- Integrate suitable open-source elements into the platform
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate components
- Work with cross-functional teams in an agile environment
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Participate in regular code reviews
- Contribute to continuous codebase improvements
- Develop and execute software functionality tests
- Verify performance, reliability, and regulatory compliance
- Ensure software adheres to cybersecurity standards
- Document software design and implementation processes
- Maintain comprehensive testing documentation for industry compliance
- Monitor latest trends in embedded systems and technologies
- Apply new technical knowledge to enhance products
