- Ability to understand Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams
- Flexibility, teamwork, and continuous learning mindset
- Spoken and written English, commitment to learn French
- National of a CERN Member or Associate Member State
- Maximum two years professional experience since graduation in Electromechanical Engineering (or related field) and general secondary education diploma
- Never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before
- Applicants with Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree are not eligible
Tasks
- Remove and disassemble cooling systems and components
- Manufacture, test, and install piping and manifold boxes
- Perform maintenance, repairs, testing, and modifications on cooling systems
- Troubleshoot issues and develop repair solutions
- Implement necessary safety measures on work sites
- Prepare and conduct acceptance tests
