Dispatcher / Flight Coordinator(m/w/x)
Coordinating client flights end-to-end and briefing crews with operational details. Previous business aviation experience and European aviation regulations knowledge required. Structured off-hour coverage, on-call duty.
Requirements
- Right to work in Switzerland
- Dispatch licence (advantageous)
- Previous experience in flight dispatch, operations, or business aviation
- Strong understanding of European aviation regulations and flight planning
- Confident use of flight planning and operational software
- Fluent English; German (strong advantage)
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under time pressure
- Willingness to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call duty
Tasks
- Plan and coordinate flight itineraries
- Prepare complete flight packages
- Obtain required permits, slots, and handling arrangements
- Monitor flights and adjust planning
- Brief crews with operational details
- Coordinate crew schedules and rest compliance
- Support crews during operations
- Manage fleet availability
- Optimize aircraft utilization
- Coordinate maintenance with CAMO and providers
- Track aircraft status
- Act as direct client and broker contact
- Provide clear and fast updates
- Maintain high service standards
- Support urgent matters outside office hours
- Coordinate with crews and internal teams
- Maintain responsiveness under pressure
- Support crews in AOG or disruptions
- Apply internal procedures
- Coordinate with relevant authorities
- Keep clients informed
- Maintain accurate operational records
- Follow regulatory requirements
- Support audits and reporting
