Description

In this role, you will lead the Detectors Group, shaping the technical vision and driving the development of advanced threat detection models. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include mentoring leaders, collaborating across teams, and ensuring high standards in AI security defenses.

Requirements

• •20+ years of experience in machine learning, applied AI, and software systems
• •Technical depth and organizational strategic capability
• •Strong mentoring skills and leadership capacity building
• •Experience managing managers and leading multi-layered teams
• •Humility, curiosity, and motivation for building optimal solutions
• •Energized by solving problems at the intersection of people, technology, and organization
• •Experience scaling teams and systems in high-growth environments
• •Experience building ML systems for security, trust and safety, or adversarial domains
• •Background in deploying ML systems under strict latency, reliability, or adversarial constraints

Tasks

• •Own the technical vision and roadmap for detection models
• •Lead and scale the Detectors Group from 15 to approximately 30 members
• •Manage and develop engineering managers and senior individual contributors
• •Mentor senior leaders and individual contributors to enhance technical excellence
• •Collaborate with Product, Research, GTM, and Engineering teams to align detection capabilities
• •Drive architectural and modeling decisions for production defenses
• •Ensure model quality, reliability, latency, and scalability in customer deployments
• •Establish technical and operational processes for experimentation and deployment
• •Design the organization to support rapid growth while maintaining execution speed
