Requirements

  • •Advanced degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
  • •Demonstrated leadership skills
  • •Extensive experience in chemical manufacturing
  • •Broad expertise in chemistry and chemical engineering
  • •Strong knowledge of GMP and EHS requirements
  • •Fluency in English and German, or readiness to learn
  • •Experience with Operational Excellence / LEAN principles

Tasks

  • •Oversee operational activities of the manufacturing unit
  • •Ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery
  • •Lead a team of production managers, supervisors, and specialists
  • •Manage people-related tasks including hiring and coaching
  • •Execute all production campaigns in compliance with regulations
  • •Monitor production costs and provide forecasts for campaigns
  • •Contribute to budgeting and product cost calculations
  • •Support overall production management and operational controls
  • •Act as a point of contact for production planning and assessments
  • •Conduct routine performance monitoring and reporting
  • •Facilitate the handover of investment projects to the manufacturing team
