Development Analyst, Europe(m/w/x)

Requirements

• Degree in Economics, Finance, Real Estate, Hotel Management, or related field
• Familiarity with hotel industry financial modelling
• Experience in hotel/real estate financial modeling and feasibility
• Proficiency in another European language (advantageous)
• Understanding of lodging industry metrics and operations
• Understanding of the luxury hotel market
• Proficiency in hospitality market and financial analyses
• Strong analytical skills and financial forecasting
• Detailed knowledge of MS Office Suite
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Teamwork skills and strong work ethic
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
• Professional maturity and cultural sensitivity

Tasks

• Support the Europe Development Team with project evaluations
• Conduct market research using desk research and statistics
• Perform initial lead assessments by reviewing project documentation
• Conduct preliminary project assessments and site plan reviews
• Prepare financial feasibility analyses including IRR calculations
• Present analyses to senior Operations executives for approval
• Prepare project summaries and critical review documents
• Monitor industry trends, supply changes, and macroeconomic issues
• Participate in meetings with current and potential owners
• Present financial analyses to project stakeholders
• Assist in preparing RFP documents
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior executives
• Maintain and update the Development department database
• Track and report on the development pipeline
• Gather and analyze competitor market intelligence
• Prepare transaction approval documentation
• Perform other related duties as assigned
