Requirements
- Civil Engineering design or construction works experience
- Coordination experience
- MS Office suite proficiency, including MS Project
- Construction project management tools and methodologies familiarity
- Quality control, procedure writing, reports, and minutes
- Spoken and written English or French, with commitment to learn other
- National of CERN Member or Associate Member State
- Professional background in Civil Engineering or related field
- Master's degree with 2-6 years post-graduation experience
- Never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract
- Valid driving licence
Tasks
- Contribute to complex construction projects at CERN
- Coordinate site activities and manage stakeholder interfaces
- Ensure compliance with contractual drawings and specifications
- Implement and enforce safety measures on worksites
- Identify and prevent potential issues on worksites
- Manage remediation of defects and safety issues
- Participate in testing and commissioning activities
- Ensure smooth handover of completed works
- Collaborate on design and procurement phases of new projects
- Monitor consultants' deliverables during construction
- Coordinate between contractors and CERN services
- Organize worksite according to construction schedule
- Monitor progress, quality, and budget of works
