- Master's degree or equivalent relevant experience in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering
- Experience in civil and/or geotechnical engineering, including buried structures
- Experience preparing technical specifications and managing contracts
- Broad understanding of civil engineering areas
- Proven record of data management in civil engineering
- Project management skills
- Civil work experience
- Structured and organised approach to work
- Defining clear objectives and milestones
- Adapting quickly to shifting priorities
- Readily accepting new tasks or projects
- Fluent in spoken and written English and French
- Valid driving licence
Tasks
- Support senior team members in FCC civil engineering
- Conduct site investigations and geotechnical engineering
- Prepare technical and contractual documentation
- Follow up on CERN-awarded contracts for FCC activities
- Undertake technical tasks in structural and civil design
- Maintain the schedule for FCC preparatory activities
- Support technical and administrative work for permitting
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare technical documentation for future contracts
- Conduct environmental condition surveys outside CERN sites
