Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent higher education
  • Further education in financial markets and risk (e.g., FRM, CRM, CFA)
  • 5-7 years banking industry experience in risk, compliance, financial markets, or advisory
  • Front to back knowledge of trading and execution processes
  • Product governance and best execution knowledge
  • Affinity with operational processes for structured products, traditional and alternative funds
  • Strong knowledge of compliance, risk management, and audit principles
  • Solid understanding of banking business, financial products, and advisory, trading, sales, execution processes
  • Good understanding and strong interest in risk-related topics (operational risks, fraud, suitability)
  • Good grasp of products and investment systems/processes in global private banking
  • Ability to conduct data analysis, gap assessments, and present solution options
  • Data query and/or programming experience (e.g. SQL, Python)
  • Diligent, accurate, and reliable personality
  • Critical and conceptual problem-solver with growth mindset
  • Ability to work independently in global team, take ownership, motivated and positive attitude
  • Ability to innovate, troubleshoot problems, and provide effective solutions
  • Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills
  • Committed to high standards of quality and performance

  • Develop and maintain risk framework
  • Assess risk framework effectiveness
  • Align risk framework with bank-wide policies
  • Evaluate impact of policy changes
  • Adjust internal procedures and governance
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify risks
  • Mitigate operational risks
  • Track and resolve incidents
  • Manage audit activities
  • Coordinate with internal audit teams
  • Resolve audit findings
  • Implement audit recommendations
