Business Development Manager(m/w/x)
Acquiring new clients for integrated tech and payment solutions in retail, hospitality, and mobility at a global provider. Proven sales experience in hospitality, retail, F&B, or mobility with Swiss market knowledge required. Collaboration with a dedicated Partnership team for lead conversion.
Requirements
- Strong network in a given vertical or geography
- Proven experience in sales or business development within hospitality, retail, F&B or mobility
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of the Swiss market
- Willingness to travel within the designated sales territory
- Native German language skills and speaking of other local language or English
Tasks
- Expand the company's market position in Switzerland
- Acquire new customers in specific areas
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
- Maximize revenue opportunities for business profitability
- Collaborate with the Partnership team to convert new business leads
- Conduct contract negotiations with clients
- Plan and deliver product presentations for prospects and existing customers
- Advise prospects on products and new developments
- Represent Planet at industry events and trade fairs in Switzerland
- Serve as a contact for customer inquiries about offers and contracts
- Liaise with other departments and sales partners
- Share ideas and support colleagues within the sales team
- Monitor competitors to enhance Planet's value proposition
