BA Application Support / FX Specialist(m/w/x)
Technical and application support for trading desk systems at a global financial services consultancy, including incident analysis and system enhancements. Experience with vendor trading solutions (e.g., SmartTrade, Bloomberg) required. Monthly lunch support provided.
Requirements
- Knowledge of FX markets and electronic trading environments
- Experience with vendor trading solutions (SmartTrade, Integral, Bloomberg, Broadridge ULBridge)
- Solid understanding of financial risks (operational, market, counterparty) in trading environments
- Good knowledge of FIX protocol
- Experience with Broadridge suite (ULBridge / ULDashboard) (strong asset)
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Customer-service mindset
- Collaborative, team-oriented, comfortable working with diverse teams
- Self-motivated, proactive, independent work ability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in French and English
- Swiss residency or willingness to relocate
Tasks
- Provide expert technical and application support to the trading desk
- Support new initiatives and system enhancements
- Collect requests, questions, and incidents from business users
- Prioritize requests based on urgency, impact, and management needs
- Analyze first and second-level issues for resolution
- Document issue causes and resolutions
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve complex issues
- Suggest system and process improvements based on user feedback
- Work with the Risk Office to address concerns promptly
- Produce and maintain technical documentation
- Maintain operational procedures for supported systems
- Develop and implement process improvements for efficiency and automation
- Test new product releases
- Validate system integrity
- Coordinate change management activities
- Support user training
- Coordinate and perform trading system installations
- Configure trading systems to bank requirements
- Manage trading system rollouts, upgrades, and maintenance
- Work in test and production environments
- Collaborate with external vendors, brokers, and exchanges
- Ensure efficient and reliable trading solutions
- Coordinate system upgrades with external parties
- Participate in FX-related projects
- Conduct business analysis on specific trading topics
- Collaborate with FX Product Owner and IT teams
