Requirements

  • BSc, MSc, or PhD in a scientific discipline
  • 5+ years commercial experience in CDMO space
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Additional languages advantageous
  • Proven experience managing full sales lifecycle
  • Proven experience managing full project lifecycle
  • Proven involvement in contract negotiations (leading role)
  • Proven involvement in contract negotiations (part of team)
  • Ability to proactively lead stakeholders in contract closure
  • Ability to create customer-focused presentations
  • Knowledge of drug development lifecycle
  • Strong technical understanding of cell and gene therapy
  • Strong technical understanding of mRNA manufacturing
  • Strong technical understanding of Microbial manufacturing principles
  • Experience using CRM tools desirable

Tasks

  • Build strong customer relationships in mainland Europe
  • Develop new business opportunities
  • Work closely with internal experts to deliver tailored solutions
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline
  • Engage customers to develop new opportunities
  • Own the sales cycle from first contact to deal closure
  • Understand and position customer needs effectively
  • Develop a broad network in cell and gene therapy, mRNA, and microbial markets
  • Plan and attend customer meetings, conferences, and industry events
  • Generate new leads through customer interactions
  • Share market insights and competitive intelligence
  • Collaborate with internal teams on proposals and account handovers
