Requirements
- BSc, MSc, or PhD in a scientific discipline
- 5+ years commercial experience in CDMO space
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Additional languages advantageous
- Proven experience managing full sales lifecycle
- Proven experience managing full project lifecycle
- Proven involvement in contract negotiations (leading role)
- Proven involvement in contract negotiations (part of team)
- Ability to proactively lead stakeholders in contract closure
- Ability to create customer-focused presentations
- Knowledge of drug development lifecycle
- Strong technical understanding of cell and gene therapy
- Strong technical understanding of mRNA manufacturing
- Strong technical understanding of Microbial manufacturing principles
- Experience using CRM tools desirable
Tasks
- Build strong customer relationships in mainland Europe
- Develop new business opportunities
- Work closely with internal experts to deliver tailored solutions
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline
- Engage customers to develop new opportunities
- Own the sales cycle from first contact to deal closure
- Understand and position customer needs effectively
- Develop a broad network in cell and gene therapy, mRNA, and microbial markets
- Plan and attend customer meetings, conferences, and industry events
- Generate new leads through customer interactions
- Share market insights and competitive intelligence
- Collaborate with internal teams on proposals and account handovers
