Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Basic knowledge of calibration principles, measurement uncertainty, and quality management systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with calibration software and tools
  • Experience in a regulated environment is an advantage
  • Certification in calibration or metrology is an advantage

Tasks

  • Perform calibration and verification of measurement and test equipment
  • Maintain and update calibration records and documentation
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Develop and improve calibration processes and procedures
  • Lead internalization projects across sites and develop calibration methods
  • Monitor and manage the calibration schedule to minimize downtime
  • Support internal and external audits with calibration data and documentation
  • Participate in training sessions on industry best practices and calibration techniques
  • Train calibration technicians on calibration methods and activities
  • Develop and maintain quality standards and protocols for processing materials
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to ensure quality standards
  • Implement methods for inspecting, testing, and evaluating product precision
  • Design and specify inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment
  • Conduct quality assurance tests and perform statistical analysis
  • Ensure corrective measures meet reliability standards and documentation compliance
  • Specialize in design, incoming material, production control, and product evaluation
