Requirements

  • Full job knowledge of production-related systems and procedures
  • Minimum 2 years of experience
  • Vocational or technical education or certification
  • Vocational training or certification
  • Elementary school degree / GED or equivalent

Tasks

  • Perform repetitive and non-repetitive assembly operations
  • Work from visual aids, method layouts, diagrams, and instructions
  • Set initial layouts and prepare products using various tools
  • Conduct continuity checks on work in process and completed products
  • Conduct quality inspections on processing line as per specifications
  • Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test prototypes
  • Support manufacturing operations and distribution centers
  • Set up and operate automatic or semiautomatic machines
  • Report machine malfunctions and recommend process adjustments
  • Participate in shipping, receiving, inventory control, and storage
  • Perform intermediate tasks requiring judgment and decision-making
  • Highlight areas of concern or problems in job area
  • Communicate with internal contacts within and outside the team
  • Provide guidance and assistance to new employees
