Tasks

  • Perform repetitive and non-repetitive assembly operations
  • Follow visual aids, method layouts, diagrams, and instructions
  • Set initial layouts and prepare products using various tools
  • Conduct continuity checks on work in progress and completed products
  • Conduct quality inspections according to specifications
  • Disassemble, modify, rework, and reassemble experimental assemblies
  • Test prototype assemblies under simulated conditions
  • Support manufacturing operations and distribution centers
  • Operate automatic and semiautomatic machines and equipment
  • Report machine malfunctions and abnormalities
  • Recommend and make adjustments to methods and processes
  • Participate in shipping, receiving, inventory control, and product storage
