Requirements
- •PhD, equivalent relevant experience in Physics, Electronics, or related field
- •Experience commissioning and operating large particle physics detectors
- •Experience in signal treatment chain from front-end to readout
- •Experience with HL-LHC electronic components (lpGBT, VTRx+, bPOLs) advantageous
- •Experience with fast timing detectors and precision timing systems
- •Experience in PCB design and module prototyping
- •Experience developing, testing, and mechanically integrating detector modules
- •Good knowledge of low and high voltage distribution systems
- •Simulation, design, and development of detector parts
- •Testing and validation of detectors
- •Assembly and integration of detectors
- •Layout of electronic circuit boards
- •Organisation, planning, and control skills
- •Structured approach, task prioritization, and result-oriented planning
- •Ability to build and maintain constructive work relationships
- •Self-management and initiative beyond regular tasks
- •Flexibility in absorbing new techniques and improving practices
- •Accountability and objective presentation of information
- •Spoken and written English and commitment to learn French

- •Support system-level integration of the electronics chain
- •Commission electronics across LHCb subdetectors
- •Develop detector control software and calibration procedures
- •Design PCBs and manage mechanical and cooling integration
- •Support electronics infrastructure for low and high voltage
- •Harmonize fast timing implementation at the front-end level
- •Coordinate technical efforts across VELO, RICH, and CALO teams
- •Contribute to R&D for module integration and cooling
