- 4+ years Life Science tools experience
- 2+ years selling in related market
- Western-Blot and automated Immunoassay experience
- Interpersonal, presentation, and time management skills
- Knowledge of reagents and lab techniques
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to speak technically with customers
- Proficient listening, understanding, and questioning skills
- MS Office, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.com proficiency
- High degree of independence and self-starter
- Teamwork skills and interest
- Highly motivated and independent
Tasks
- Sell automated capillary electrophoresis-based immunoassay instruments
- Sell single cell dispensers and related consumables
- Develop strategic sales plans for the instrument portfolio
- Increase sales and grow market share in the territory
- Achieve sales targets using consultative selling methods
- Maintain and develop business in existing and new accounts
- Collaborate with the Commercial Team for a coordinated customer approach
- Visit customers 75% of the time in the assigned territory
- Understand standard scientific methods and equipment
- Provide accurate sales forecasts for instruments and reagents
- Manage leads, customers, and opportunities in SalesForce
- Plan and execute account management to meet goals
- Ensure customers understand product value and applications
