Requirements

• •Knowledge of customs laws and procedures.

• •High School Diploma or GED.
• •Additional languages are a plus.
• •Geographical knowledge requested.
• •Experience in freight forwarding is a plus.

Tasks

• •Prepare and coordinate documentation for air export activities.
• •Coordinate cargo pick up and transfer.
• •Monitor shipment status and updates.
• •Communicate with export authorities, customers, and suppliers.
• •Manage and update carrier and vendor rates.
• •Obtain spot rates as needed.
• •Correspond with overseas agents and clients promptly.
• •Track shipments and inform customers and agents.
• •Create and maintain customer files.
• •Handle customer invoicing and payable approvals.
• •Audit files for accuracy and completeness.
• •Interact professionally with coworkers.
• •Perform JWS entry and documentation.
• •Assist other departments as requested.
