- •Familiarity with 3D CAD and FEA
- •Experience with polymeric resins and composites
- •Experience with industrial partner projects
- •Knowledge of Metal Additive Manufacturing
- •Coating and resin deposition analysis
- •Use of CAD tools
- •Use of FEA tools
- •Teamwork skills
- •Project management skills
- •Good communication skills
- •Spoken and written English and French
- •National of CERN Member State
- •Bachelor's or Master's in Material Science
- •No previous CERN graduate contract
- •Possession of a University degree
- •No PhD degree
Education
Tasks
- •Collaborate with CERN and CSEM specialists on the SensiPipe project
- •Coordinate communication between CERN, CSEM, and Lisi Aerospace
- •Develop technical specifications based on user requirements
- •Research optimal resins for insulation and sealing
- •Oversee additive manufacturing production lots at Lisi
- •Document project milestones and deliverables in formal reports
- •Select and procure miniaturized sensors and electrical connectors
- •Design the SensiPipe segment using 3D software
- •Perform structural and material simulations using FEA software
- •Optimize sensor integration and conductive track deposition
