Account Manager Rolling Stock(m/w/x)
Managing rolling stock sales and bid processes for global transportation infrastructure. 5+ years in sales or tendering required. Hybrid work, bonus plan.
Requirements
- Engineering degree, preferably Electrical
- At least 5 years of experience in sales, tendering, or commercial bid management
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Effective operation in cross-functional, deadline-driven environment
- Willingness to travel up to 30%
- Proficiency in English and Italian
Tasks
- Manage end-to-end opportunity lifecycle
- Engage in early market and customer interactions
- Prepare and submit tenders and bids
- Negotiate and hand over contracts
- Serve as primary commercial interface
- Coordinate with customers and internal stakeholders
- Balance growth, margin, risk, and customer satisfaction
- Define and implement sales strategy
- Support Dry Type Transformers strategy
- Maintain robust channel strategy
- Ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines
- Process commercial and technical requests
- Set up cost calculations
- Devise complete offers and negotiations
- Hand over projects to project management
- Prepare production forecasts
- Support sales key figure preparation
- Participate in trade fairs
- Conduct regular customer visits
- Build professional relationships with key customers
- Take ownership of specific customer cases
- Resolve customer issues efficiently
- Analyze lost proposals to improve competitiveness
