Requirements
- M.A./M.Sc or equivalent experience, preferred bachelor's degree in biology/life science
- Sales experience in Life Sciences Market or comparable professional experience
- General knowledge of assigned Biosciences product portfolio and customer segment
- Analytical and business planning skills
- Distinct time management
- Strong capabilities to interface successfully with all customer types, face to face and virtually/via phone
- Ability to successfully contribute to dedicated team
- Positive demeanor and desire to succeed
- Strong self-motivation to find new business
- High degree of flexibility in adapting to evolving business environment
- Digital literacy in MS Office package
- Valid driving license
- Proficiency in German and English, both written and verbal, additional languages, such as Italian are an advantage
Tasks
- Drive growth of research business
- Acquire new customers
- Expand relationships with existing customers
- Represent molecular, protein, and cell biology products
- Align actions with annual operating plan
- Sell life sciences research consumables and instruments
- Maintain and develop customer relationships
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities
- Focus on strategic development of key accounts
- Implement and update account planning
- Maintain and strengthen internal network
- Ensure fast and excellent customer experience
