  • Experience in modeling, especially with ABMs
  • Proficiency in programming and database management
  • Project management skills as a plus
  • Mandatory proficiency in written and spoken English

  • Collaborative spirit
  • Comfort in interdisciplinary environments

Tasks

  • Spearhead interdisciplinary research on societal metabolism
  • Collaborate with team members on project goals
  • Analyze how crises affect resource utilization and sustainability
  • Investigate supply chain resilience to global shocks
  • Utilize unique data on firm-level supply chains
  • Study resource flows and material stocks in infrastructure
  • Quantify supply chain disruptions using big data approaches
  • Develop agent-based models for socio-economic impact simulation
  • Simulate global transition effects on local populations
