- •Shape scientific leadership and brand strategies
- •Drive life cycle management and strategic initiatives
- •Deliver local medical affairs initiatives
- •Foster scientific partnerships
- •Ensure alignment with commercial and market access strategies
- •Guide a team of Medical Affairs Managers, Medical Advisors, and Medical Science Liaisons
- •Collaborate with various functions to uphold scientific and ethical standards
- •Conduct activities in line with AstraZeneca's values and Code of Conduct
- •Complete required training on time and report compliance issues
- •Integrate scientific evidence to support brand strategies
- •Identify opportunities for evidence generation
- •Lead scientific communications activities
- •Deliver accurate interpretation and maintain integrity of medical evidence
- •Develop and execute the medical affairs plan within budget and timelines
- •Manage the therapeutic area budget and resource planning
- •Provide insights into patient needs
- •Act as the patient insight expert in the therapeutic area
- •Facilitate patient insight knowledge sharing
- •Maintain knowledge of company standards on medicines promotion
- •Respond to unsolicited Medical Information requests
- •Collaborate with External Service Provider for Medical Information
- •Provide strong leadership to the office and field-based team
- •Coach and develop the team for best-in-class capabilities
- •Supervise TA Medical Affairs activities for operational excellence
- •Establish strategic partnerships between Medical Affairs and other functions
