Requirements
- University degree in medicine, science, economics, or law
- Knowledge about AstraZeneca product portfolio
- Minimum 5 years pharmaceutical Market Access experience
- Strong content and lateral leadership skills
- Ideally experiences in Pharmacoeconomics or Health Economics
- Fluency in written and spoken German and English
- Commercial awareness and business acumen
- Strategic insight and innovation-driven mindset
- Understanding of clinical studies and health economics
- Proficient MS Office skills

Tasks
- Lead and accelerate market access for the portfolio
- Ensure rapid and sustainable product access
- Drive strategic planning for pricing and reimbursement
- Demonstrate product value for new brand launches
- Maximize long-term value for 15 new brands
- Provide direction to the Market Access organization
- Navigate system complexity and regulatory requirements
- Represent the company in critical external negotiations
- Develop high-performing and future-ready teams
- Foster cross-functional and external partnerships
- Design solutions and manage environmental ambiguity
- Secure broad market access through product positioning
- Ensure compliance with company values and policies
- Lead the Market Access and Pricing teams
- Provide functional oversight of Legal Counsel
- Act as legal signatory and Handelsrechtlicher Geschäftsführer
- Serve as Deputy Verantwortliche Person per AMBO regulations
- Assess and implement reimbursement system strategies
- Execute value-enhancing strategies with Senior Management
- Develop national pricing strategies following GPI requirements
- Negotiate with Austrian Social Security and reimbursement authorities
- Liaise with sick fund associations and appraisal boards
- Optimize business access within hospital settings
- Shape corporate policy as a Senior Management Team member
- Participate in professional trainings and conferences
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices
- Coach the team in scientific and business capabilities
- Supervise market access activities for operational excellence
