Test Bench Technician - Vibration and Shock Testing Operations(m/w/x)
Running vibration and shock test sequences on shaker tables for aerospace launch solutions. Experience with flight hardware and shock-test equipment required. Virtual company share program, 30 days vacation.
Requirements
- Apprenticeship or technician program completion as Mechanic
- Experience in production or maintenance of aircraft, motor vehicles, or relevant fields
- Experience working on flight hardware, fluid systems, cryogenic systems, fuel systems, or electro-mechanical systems
- Experience working with Shaking and Shock-test equipment
- Strong mechanical problem-solving skills
- Developing complex systems with engineering guidance
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
- Proficiency with high-pressure fluid systems
- Proficient use of high-pressure piping Systems
- Proficient use of “Swagelok” fittings and flange connections
- Solid understanding of part traceability
- Solid understanding of tagging procedures
- Solid understanding of proper documentation procedures
- Clean Room practices
- Safe workshop habits
- Tool control
- Ability to read and interpret working drawings
- Ability to interpret engineering documents
- Ability to interpret maintenance manuals
- Enthusiasm for developing state-of-the-art hardware

Tasks
- Run test sequences on shock and shaker table
- Set up test configurations according to requirements
- Adjust current setups as needed
- Assess test results for plausibility and repeatability
- Prepare data for test results before handing over to client
- Support test campaigns by preparing test articles and facilities
- Collaborate with test and propulsion engineers
- Maintain, modify, and design high-pressure and cryogenic piping systems
- Document work on test articles with proper procedures
- Keep workshop up to date with necessary tooling
- Ensure machines remain functional through regular servicing
- Maintain order in workshop and storage areas
