Requirements
- Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic, specializing in production engineering, maintenance engineering, or comparable training
- Several years of professional experience in aviation and/or aerospace
- Knowledge of gas/fluid bolting techniques
- Good drawing skills, spatial awareness, and good technical understanding
- Willingness for occasional assembly work at different locations
- High quality awareness
- Ability to work under pressure, flexibility, and teamwork skills
- High motivation to take on complex challenges
- Foundational knowledge of computer and software applications
- Fluency in English and German
Tasks
- Assemble advanced space components with precision
- Machine carbon fiber composites using cutting-edge techniques
- Test electrical and mechanical internals for reliability
- Validate functionality of individual parts and complete assemblies
- Maintain high cleanliness standards for component integrity
- Document work processes accurately to uphold quality standards
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives
- Assist in setting up accurate and reliable tests
