Avionics Technician(m/w/x)
Building and testing harnesses and avionics units for micro launcher Spectrum. 3+ years hands-on experience with wiring harnesses and electronic unit assembly required. 20% pension contribution, employee participation, 30 days vacation.
Requirements
- Technical training degree or apprenticeship in relevant fields
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in production and assembly of wiring harnesses and electronic units
- Practical knowledge with general electrical/electronic equipment
- Practical experience with tools for cutting, crimping, and positioning of wires
- Practical experience in soldering PCBs, wires, and connectors
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products and other common software
- Highly organized and proactive with high attention to details
- Fluency in English, knowledge of German advantageous
- Knowledge of sensors/sensor signals and test equipment
- Experience with automated harness testing equipment
- Experience running thermal or vibration tests
- Experience with MES, ERP, and/or PLM Systems
Tasks
- Build and test harnesses for the micro launcher Spectrum
- Assemble and test avionics units for the Spectrum launcher development
- Support integration of harnesses and units onto engines and launch vehicles
- Assist with functional and environmental tests on avionics units
- Document manufacturing and testing tasks using MES/PLM
- Challenge and suggest improvements to engineering designs
- Improve efficiency of existing processes and implement new ones
- Support Production and Avionics teams in daily tasks
- Procure tools and maintain material stock for harnessing and unit assemblies
- Organize the electronic lab
