Strategic Solution Engineer - Partner Ecosystem(m/w/x)
Driving technology adoption and co-creating reference architectures for System Integrator partners. Hands-on experience in complex software systems and with System Integrators essential. Work within a global partner ecosystem.
Requirements
- 5+ years in Sales/Solution Engineering or Consulting in enterprise software environments
- Experience with System Integrators or Technology Consulting firms
- Strong technical capability
- Hands-on experience in complex software systems
- Preferred coding skills
- Background in Customer Experience/Digital Experience platforms (preferably Salesforce ecosystem)
- Background in AI/analytics/data platforms
- Background in Integration/APIs/iPaaS/Middleware
- Proven track record in partner-facing or ecosystem-focused roles (strong plus)
- Strong presales skill set (discovery, solution mapping, storytelling, demos, PoCs, objection handling)
- Ability to explain complex cloud, data, AI concepts
- Solid understanding of solution architectures (microservices, APIs, data pipelines, integrations, cloud platforms)
- Excellent presentation, communication, and facilitation skills
- Comfort working in matrixed, global environment
Tasks
- Evangelize technology portfolio to partner leaders
- Design awareness initiatives for SIs
- Design enablement initiatives for SIs
- Co-create joint strategic assets
- Co-create reference architectures
- Co-create industry plays in select engagements
- Support joint go-to-market motions
- Facilitate communication between partners and Product
- Accelerate information flows and feedback loops
- Represent Salesforce as a technical ambassador
- Connect with partner thought-leaders
- Promote Salesforce technology capabilities
- Run partner-facing sessions (in-person and virtual)
- Support partner-facing sessions (in-person and virtual)
- Promote Agentforce 360, Data 360, and Customer 360
- Represent Salesforce at joint events
- Represent Salesforce at conferences
- Represent Salesforce at industry forums with partners
- Design partner enablement programs
- Deliver partner enablement programs to SI teams
- Create partner-focused content
- Maintain partner-focused content
- Curate resources for partners
- Enable partners to position Salesforce solutions
- Enable partners to sell Salesforce solutions
- Establish a technical SI community
- Moderate a technical SI community
- Cover latest developments for the community
- Cover product updates for the community
- Cover best practices for the community
- Contribute joint value propositions
- Contribute reference architectures
- Contribute blueprints combining Salesforce with partner offerings
- Enable SIs to position Salesforce value
- Enable SIs to align capabilities to customer requirements
- Advise Alliances and Channel Sales on strategy
- Prioritize focus areas for business development
- Prioritize focus areas for pipeline generation
- Serve as partner voice to Product, Engineering, GTM
- Translate field feedback into roadmap priorities
- Translate field feedback into enablement priorities
- Collaborate with Product Groups on partner messaging
- Collaborate with Product Groups on partner content
- Involve supporting resources from other teams
- Orchestrate supporting resources from other teams
- Deliver consistent communication to partners
