Strategic Account Manager for a Leading Energy Network Operator in Europe(m/w/x)
Cultivating senior-level relationships and identifying business opportunities with major European energy utilities. Deep understanding of energy utility challenges and regulations essential. Extensive travel across Europe expected.
Requirements
- Degree in engineering, computer science, business administration, or comparable qualification
- 8-10 years experience in strategic account management or business development (energy sector)
- Strong regional expertise and deep understanding of network operator challenges, regulations, technologies
- Demonstrated success in cultivating senior-level relationships and managing complex accounts
- Proven ability to identify and close new business opportunities
- Fluent written and spoken German and English
- Advantageous proficiency in Dutch/Flemish and/or French
- Willingness to travel (Germany and international)
- Ability to communicate complex technical topics and translate into business opportunities
- Analytical thinking and strategic vision
Tasks
- Ensure solutions align with client strategic objectives
- Drive sustainable account growth
- Develop and implement comprehensive account strategies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with all key stakeholders
- Identify and qualify client-tailored business opportunities
- Negotiate client contracts
- Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements
- Coordinate internal teams for customized solutions
- Report on account status and strategy
- Report on pipeline development
- Report on revenue forecasts
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscape for optimal positioning
- Represent Hitachi at industry events and conferences
