Requirements

  • EU citizenship/passport holder status
  • Fluent verbal and written German (C1)
  • Fluent verbal and written English (C2)
  • Supportive, organized, and hands-on culinary professionalism
  • Highly desirable previous experience as Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in hotel or high-volume kitchen
  • Completed vocational culinary qualification or relevant professional training
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and HACCP practices
  • Ability to lead by example in fast-paced kitchen, maintaining high quality
  • Proactive team player with strong organizational and communication skills
  • Physical resilience, adaptability, and comfort with flexible hours (evenings, weekends, holidays)
  • Fluent verbal and written German (C1)
  • Fluent verbal and written English (C2)
  • Highly advantageous additional languages
  • EU citizenship/passport holder status

Tasks

  • Support, guide, and inspire the kitchen team
  • Deliver high-quality culinary experiences for guests
  • Supervise and coordinate daily kitchen operations
  • Ensure high standards for food preparation and presentation
  • Maintain kitchen presence during service periods
  • Ensure quality, consistency, and efficient workflow
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, food safety, and HACCP
  • Plan and prepare menus, buffets, and special events
  • Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation
  • Control stock, order supplies, and manage inventory
  • Maintain cost control for kitchen supplies
  • Train, coach, and develop kitchen team members
  • Collaborate with restaurant and F&B teams for smooth service
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized kitchen areas
  • Participate in team meetings and discussions
