Requirements

  • •PhD or MSc with equivalent relevant work experience in a related field
  • •Experience in cleanroom microfabrication, magnetism, and/or nanoparticles
  • •Experience with wafer-level fabrication, preferably on 200 mm wafers
  • •Experience contributing to cleanroom-related projects with a results-oriented mindset
  • •Evidence of cleanroom work, such as scientific publications or a PhD thesis
  • •Knowledge of RF characterization techniques and experience with thin film growth processes
  • •Familiarity with software tools such as Ansys, Comsol, CST, RF simulations, or Python
  • •Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • •Willingness to relocate to Villach, Austria

Tasks

  • •Focus on magnetic microsystem devices
  • •Develop and optimize cleanroom fabrication steps
  • •Deposit and characterize dielectric and magnetic materials
  • •Create and refine device process flows
  • •Execute device-level characterization, including magnetic response
  • •Assess electrical performance and structural characterization
  • •Identify and solve fabrication-related issues
  • •Document all process steps, measurements, and results
  • •Collaborate with the thin film team for magnetic integration
  • •Work with partners to define device requirements
  • •Contribute to device prototypes and early demonstrator development
  • •Analyze and evaluate experimental data
  • •Meet deadlines for deliverables and milestones
  • •Contribute to scientific publications
