Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years
  • Degree in engineering, finance, or similar
  • Minimum 10 years experience in energy trading, including gas origination in South Europe
  • Proven track record of delivering strong, consistent P&L
  • Strong external network in South Europe gas and power industry
  • In-depth knowledge of regional gas markets and regulatory frameworks
  • Experience working closely with trading desks
  • Strong project management and negotiation skills
  • Forward-looking, self-motivated, highly collaborative

Tasks

  • Develop new third-party business in South Europe
  • Originate profitable gas supply contracts
  • Optimize gas portfolios for profitability
  • Access flexibility for profitable business
  • Structure credit for profitable business
  • Support wider TotalEnergies South Europe activities
  • Manage gas origination lifecycle
  • Collaborate with gas and LNG traders
  • Collaborate with trading support teams
  • Collaborate with legal, credit, and compliance
  • Collaborate with senior management
  • Define South Europe gas origination strategy
  • Implement South Europe gas origination strategy
  • Represent TGP at external events
  • Contribute to the Geneva Origination team
  • Support the TGP Gas Origination team
  • Identify and propose Trading division priorities
  • Identify priority markets, counterparties, and deals
  • Deliver profitable origination deals
  • Deliver gas supply agreements
  • Manage hedging and financing agreements
  • Address gas demand in target markets
  • Manage customer portfolios
  • Manage flexibility solutions
  • Optimize portfolio performance
  • Manage LNG replacement optionality
  • Access physical and virtual flexibility
  • Develop credit structures and pre-payments
  • Arrange market and infrastructure access
  • Develop structured and financial products
  • Establish and maintain counterparty relationships
  • Represent TGP in the gas wholesale community
  • Support origination in other markets
  • Manage profitable project delivery
  • Comply with Company Code of Conduct
  • Comply with strategic objectives
  • Contribute to team effectiveness and safety
