Tasks
- Understand European power markets deeply
- Monitor gas and emissions markets
- Track capacity mechanisms and ancillary services
- Formulate market views for value generation
- Build technical understanding of asset portfolio
- Determine optimal dispatch strategies
- Contribute to analytical tool development
- Support workflow digitalization
- Collaborate with Research, Digital, and IT teams
- Define and implement trading strategies
- Execute trades across power, gas, and emissions markets
- Contribute to portfolio balancing and risk management
- Support new agreements with Origination teams
- Liaise with Operations on dispatch decisions
- Interact with Finance, Middle Office, Back Office, IT, and Research
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations
- Operate within trading governance and risk framework
- Contribute to desk performance
- Adhere to HSE rules and Code of Conduct
