Requirements

  • Bachelor, Master or PhD degree in engineering or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in development of medical devices or combination products
  • Experience in developing plastic and metal components, tolerance analysis, modelling and testing
  • Excellent skills in English, verbal and written; German language skills advantageous
  • Autonomous and independent working style with interest in medical device development
  • Ability to interact with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization

Tasks

  • Deliver technical development and life-cycle management for products
  • Manage device constituent parts of an autoinjector
  • Integrate prefilled syringes with the autoinjector into a combination product
  • Ensure timely delivery of technical aspects for multiple projects
  • Oversee life-cycle management of commercial products
  • Support device design development in accordance with design control processes
  • Ensure components meet quality standards for clinical trials and commercial production
  • Assist with internal and external audits related to medical devices
  • Provide input for health authority inquiries
