Senior Drilling Supervisor(m/w/x)
Supervising day-to-day rig site drilling operations at an integrated energy company, acting as responsible person under Austrian mining law. Bohrmeisterschule Celle or equivalent, IWCF well control certificate, and Austrian mining law knowledge required. Flexible working time, home office option.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Engineering or relevant discipline with minimum 7 years experience, or completed High School Degree with significantly more relevant field experience
- Completion of Bohrmeisterschule Celle or equivalent drilling supervisory education
- Proven track record in drilling operations, wellsite supervision, contractor management
- Valid IWCF well control certificate
- In-depth knowledge of HSSE principles and Austrian mining law (MinRoG)
- Strong leadership, decision-making, communication skills in high-pressure environments
- Proficiency in German and English
Tasks
- Lead and supervise day-to-day drilling operations at the rig site
- Lead rig personnel to improve performance
- Ensure full compliance with drilling procedures, work programs, and HSSE standards
- Serve as the responsible person under Austrian mining law (MinRoG)
- Act as the single point of contact for wellsite emergencies
- Manage abnormal pressure situations, well control, and blow-out prevention
- Coordinate Wellsite Geologist
- Ensure logging, coring, and testing activities follow the plan
- Supervise and coordinate rig contractor and service company personnel
- Ensure all work conforms to safety, quality, and the well program
- Identify performance improvement opportunities
- Drive operational optimization
- Prepare daily drilling, cost, mud, and POB list reports
- Coordinate support services, personnel logistics, and equipment scheduling
