Requirements

  • Proven success managing multi-country HR operations (ideally CEE region)
  • Strong understanding of CEE labor frameworks, including Austrian labor law and works councils
  • Experience with organizational change, restructurings, and cross-border HR initiatives
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in matrixed, multicultural environment
  • Balanced approach to aligning global standards with local requirements
  • High integrity, sound judgment, and professionalism in sensitive matters
  • Ability to lead teams through complexity and organizational transformation

Tasks

  • Lead the CEE HR Hub
  • Oversee CEE HR program, process, and standard delivery
  • Translate global HR strategy into regional plans
  • Oversee implementation of regional HR plans
  • Manage and develop Country Cluster HR Leaders
  • Manage and develop local HR teams
  • Guide business leaders on workforce planning
  • Guide business leaders on talent priorities
  • Guide business leaders on organizational development
  • Ensure CEE compliance with policies, governance, and regulations
  • Ensure consistent HR policies with local customization
  • Strengthen HR reporting, analytics, and operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with shared services to improve HR delivery
  • Support regional culture, engagement, and inclusion initiatives
  • Promote consistent HR practices and behaviors
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Advise Austrian Managing Directors on HR matters
  • Partner with Austrian Managing Directors on HR matters
  • Manage works council relationships
  • Support effective labor relations
  • Ensure compliance with Austrian labor law
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR requirements
  • Oversee HR reporting, analytics, and proactive risk mitigation
