Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent
- Advanced engineering degree with EMC focus (preferred)
- In-depth understanding of EMC standards and test methods
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced EMC and test solutions knowledge (required)
- Supervisory experience (preferred)
- EMC Lab accreditation experience (preferred)
Tasks
- Drive RFQ input from an EMC perspective
- Mentor and train EMC team members technically
- Drive project execution and troubleshooting
- Troubleshoot issues with customers
- Prepare EMC RFQ requirement assessments
- Develop technical concepts for EMC RFQs
- Provide cost estimations for EMC efforts and equipment
- Lead technical implementation of new EMC test methods
- Lead technical implementation of new EMC test equipment
- Provide technical mentoring to the EMC team
- Provide technical training to other technical experts
- Analyze new international EMC standards
- Analyze new OEM EMC standards
- Define impact of new EMC standards
- Drive technical implementation to comply with EMC standards
- Create EMC test plans
- Review EMC test results
- Align expectations with customers
- Support project escalations with technical knowledge
- Troubleshoot complex issues with the team
- Support Customer Reliability Manager with scheduling input
- Support Customer Reliability Manager with technical risk assessment
- Fulfill other technical project requests
