Requirements

  • Advanced degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in computational biology, biology, medicine, or relevant life-science field
  • 2+ years of industry or postdoctoral experience in oncology or cancer biology
  • Strong foundation in modern computational data analysis methods
  • Familiarity with oncology-related public datasets
  • Demonstrated ability to work with real-world patient data, epidemiological datasets, and multi-omics data
  • Proficiency in R and/or Python
  • Experience with widely used computational biology and scientific computing libraries
  • Excellent critical thinking
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to communicate complex technical content to multidisciplinary teams

Tasks

  • Propose and design analyses on integrated genomic, transcriptomic, imaging, and clinical data
  • Execute analyses to derive insights for drug mode-of-action understanding
  • Refine patient segmentation through biomarkers
  • Generate drug-resistance hypotheses
  • Partner with internal teams and drive external collaborations
  • Identify and translate knowledge gaps into key questions
  • Develop technical requirements for analytical plans
  • Lead project-level initiatives and drive computational work streams
  • Mentor junior scientists and ensure excellence in execution
  • Communicate methods and results to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Present scientific insights and strategies in portfolio meetings
  • Evaluate and implement new analysis methods based on best practices
  • Contribute to reusable data and code with AI/ML and data science teams
